SoloStar Participant Survey SoloStar is a new disposable insulin injection pen. The aim of this survey is to collect feedback about the use of the SoloStar pen device by patients (with either type 1 or type 2 diabetes) through a questionanire.
The questionnaire will take 10 minutes to complete. Participants will be recruited between end October 2006/early November 2006. The questionnaire will be conducted betwen 11th and 18th December 2006. Average treatment time will be 6 weeks. A subset of particpants will participate in a follow-up questionnaire in February 2007.
Inclusion criteria Age 18 years or over. Has been diagnosed with either type 1 or type 2 diabetes. Past or current use of injectable insulin or other oral anti-diabetic agents, or participants considered to be candidates for initiation of therapy with injected insulin. Participant consents to be contacted to answer questionnaire.
Exclusion criteria Alcohol or drug abuse. Dementia, servere visual or dexterity impairment.
