7 Healthy Habits for people with Diabetes


1. Be well, know your BGL - check it daily.
2. Stay on the level - ideally get an HbA1c test every 3 months.
3. Live the lifestyle - get active most days, eat low/medium-GI foods.
4. Keep your finger on the pulse - get a blood pressure check at each doctor's visit.
5. Eyeball your optometrist - see them as often as your doctor suggests.
6. Develop a foot fetish - visit your podiatrist once a year or more.
7. Don't kid(ney) around - get a urine/blood test yearly.
